They say that a change is as good as a holiday and that certainly was the case when the Rising Tide Financial advice team took some time away from the office, recently spending two days and nights in Melbourne. Organised by Sam Gawenda, the purpose of the time away was to encourage the entire team to recharge the batteries, reflect on the year gone, and realign, as we look towards an exciting 2022/23.

Looking back to the last time we came together in 2019, it is clear that so many things have changed, including the addition of some incredible talent to the Rising Tide team.

Over the course of the two days, the team enjoyed team building with marshmallows and spaghetti, an intense and incredibly valuable feedback session hosted by Brad Clarke, and some technical discussions from Maree Cridland (Generation Life – Outthinking today.) and Ian Cornwall (AFG).It was also brilliant to hear from Peter McCarthy from myprosperity as well as our Chairman, Peter Worn.

It is not often you get to spend quality time with your team out of the office and safe to say, I loved getting the chance to break bread, do some fun activities and understand my incredible teammates a little better.
