Vote for Rising Tide in the FS Power 50

Late last week the Financial Standard released their nominees for ‘2020 FS Power50’ – an annual list that recognises the 50 most influential financial advisers in Australia. It is the financial planning equivalent of the Herald Sun’s top 50 in the AFL each year.
Eligibility for the top 50 includes maintaining the correct educational standards, having completed the ongoing compliance and licensing requirements to provide advice, and reference checks.
This year, we are fortunate to have two nominees in Rebecca Pritchard and myself.
The nominations are a great pat on the back for Rising Tide as it provides our clients and our team with the confidence that we are doing the right things.
In the 12 months following the Royal Commission, over 20% of financial advisers left the industry – mostly due to compliance and education requirements alongside the increased cost of doing business.
However, we took a different approach and during that time we added some fantastic new talent (like Rebecca), and doubled the size of our team. This has enabled us to do more work in helping clients to articulate their goals and setting a plan to achieve them – I must say that the feedback has been great.
I am incredibly proud of what our team and clients are achieving, and that we are committed to being around long term to continue providing great advice and service.
