At Rising Tide, we take cyber security seriously.
It’s a topic I’ve written about before but, as we continue to ensure we remain at the cutting edge of this space, we wanted to provide an update on how we’re handling this issue.
Recently, Peter from our Strategy team engaged a cyber security specialist firm to help us further upgrade our systems and processes.
Our wider team last month completed some specific training in this area and implemented a raft of important changes, like adopting multi-factor authentication on our Microsoft suite and relationship management tools.
This comes on the back of last year’s launch of Rising Tide’s Wealth Portal, an initiative I am incredibly proud of. You can check out a bit more about it here but, in essence, this portal reduces the likelihood of cyber-attacks via email (where over 90% of the financial services data security issues have popped up).
All our clients have access to the portal, which helps us protect your personal information, and our team is requesting you converse with us in your own encrypted ‘room’. It’s a little bit like WhatsApp but is done via the Rising Tide Wealth Portal app.
