Rising Tide recently celebrated a remarkable milestone – Sam Jewell‘s 10-year tenure with us, becoming only the fourth person to do so. As we reflect on his journey, it’s evident that Sam’s commitment to our clients and team has been unwavering since the day he stepped through our doors.
A decade ago, Sam embarked on his journey with Rising Tide, armed with determination and a willingness to learn. From the outset, it was clear he possessed the innate ability to tackle challenges head-on and deliver exceptional results. While he initially required some guidance, his dedication to clients and colleagues shone through, setting the stage for a promising career.
Over the journey, Sam honed his skills and transitioned into a financial planning role. Since then, he has gone from strength to strength, embodying the Rising Tide trademark behaviours and values of delivering on his promise, taking responsibility and showing care and empathy. SJ’s is the most coachable person I’ve met. On top of that, nothing escapes his radar, earning him the trust and respect of clients and peers alike.
Beyond his professional prowess, Sam’s greatest strength lies in his empathy and ability to connect with others. A dedicated listener, he understands each client’s unique needs, fostering lasting relationships built on trust and understanding. Unsurprisingly, Sam has taken on the role of mentor, guiding Marcus as he navigates his financial planning journey.
As an owner at Rising Tide, Sam’s commitment to our firm’s success is unparalleled. His consistency & leadership have played a pivotal role in shaping our trajectory – I am excited to see what the next ten years will bring. Finally, I would like to give a shout-out to Tamara (Sam’s partner & also a fellow Navy Blue tragic). Since Tamara hit the scene a few years ago, things have gone from strength to strength, so SJ.
